I made the simplest habit-building app
Sometimes we all get lost in the moment and could use friendly nudge in the right direction.
I made an app to give myself that nudge. It's called Loops, you can download it today for iOS. It works best when paired with an Apple Watch. s Some habits are discrete and concrete. Floss every evening. Go to the gym before work.
Other habits are unconscious, tacit. Seemingly part of our identities. We don't put them in our calendar, they're just things we do.
Loops' sole job is to send you a notification on a regular interval to do whatever it is you set out to do.
Drink a glass of water.
Check your posture.
Close your eyes and take a deep breath.
Or, my personal favorite - Be silly! 🙈
Loops is a simple app. It doesn't track your progress. It doesn't have a streak counter. It doesn't have a calendar view. It doesn't have a social feed.
It's just a nudge. A gentle reminder to do the thing.
